The quick read

Is it for you?

Best suited to

Older riders or anyone who wants three wheel stability, a low step-through and room for shopping.

Standout strength

A Bafang rear drive with a differential, Magene torque sensor and electronic shifting, plus hydraulic discs.

The main compromise

Heavy and wide at 720mm, and TEBCO's page gives two different weights (38.9kg and 45kg).

Consider something else if

You have limited storage width, or want smaller 20-inch wheels (see the Pioneer).

Check before you buy

Ask the dealer whether the twist grip works as a throttle and how fast it goes, and confirm the weight.

TEBCO lists a 250W motor and a 25 km/h maximum assisted speed and says no licence or registration is required. The spec table also lists a twist grip accelerator assembly (Wuxing 130X), while the TEBCO FAQ says the motor is only activated by pedalling. The throttle speed cap is not published, so we have not confirmed it is limited to 6 km/h. EN 15194 is not named.
