Can you buy and ride it in NSW?
BikesOnline: does not ship to NSW. Retailer says: “The bike is EN 15194 compliant and available to be shipped to all states and territories in Australia, except NSW. The bike is awaiting NSW Fair trading registration before it will be available to NSW customers.” Source, checked 8 Oct 2026.

No Aventure 3 or Aventure 3 ST certificate on the NSW Fair Trading register or the NSW certified product list (June 2026 edition). BikesOnline says the battery is shared with the Abound, Level 3 and Pace 4, but no battery certificate on the register names it.
NSW requires its own Certificate of Approval for the bike, its battery and its charger. Overseas certificates and retailer claims do not count on their own. Checked 8 Oct 2026.
The retailer page gives both 250W and 750W for motor power. Under 500W continuous rated power is road legal in NSW today; above 500W is not. Cannot be settled until the continuous rated power is confirmed by a certificate or declaration.
